Having a small bedroom doesn’t have to be limiting. It just means you need to get creative with storing your things! If you have a small bedroom and want to maximize your space, here are 20 small bedroom storage ideas that can completely transform your room, covering bed, closet, and general bedroom storage ideas!

As someone whose closet space isn’t big enough to fit all of my clothes, I prefer having a bed frame with storage drawers, as it provides extra space to keep my clothes in a contained area.

The space under your bed is the perfect environment to store your shoes. But if you simply put all your shoes there, it can be a pain bending down and rummaging underneath your bed to find the shoes you’re looking for. As someone who didn’t have a linen closet in my college dorm, having a storage Ottoman was perfect for storing my bedsheets, pillows, and towels! You can really store anything in these, which is why they’re the best!

There’s just something about ladder storage shelves that makes them so practical yet so stylish! I love how you can really personalize your ladder storage to suit the vibe of your bedroom, too! Having a ladder storage unit as a bedside table is an especially great idea for maximizing vertical storage space in your room. Unlike regular bedside tables, you can get ladder storage shelves with 3 or more tiers and still access at least one tier when reaching out from your bed (without stretching your arm too high).
